This weekend was Rachel's final varsity soccer tournament in London. Of course we went to watch. I was there for the whole tournament but due to flight delays from the US Steve only got to see the last day.
Unfortunately for Rachel she was really sick and not able to play her best for the first half of the tournament. But play she did and she helped her team take third place. This is the best finish the varsity team has had during her four years playing.
In all sorts of weather I love watching this girl play soccer!
Pita took this picture of us hugging Rachel after she came off the field from her last game. It's an end of era for all of us. We've been on the soccer field sidelines for 19 years. Rachel has been playing soccer for 14 of them. Hopefully she'll play intramural or club soccer in college!
These girls have been fun to watch play all season and over the last several years. We love watching them give it their all! We also really appreciate Coach Oakley and the dedication and patience it takes to coach high school girls.
