USMA Graduation Parade

Dominic is so HAPPY this is his last time marching across the Plain at West Point. Parading is a big part of life as a cadet, and he is most decidedly ready to be done with it.  I bought into the "get there early" hype and we arrived at 6:44 am.  This was TOO early.  There were five people there.  We could have easily arrived between 730 and 800 and still had seats for our whole group. But we did have a prime spot and plenty of room!

The entire Corp of Cadets - all 4000 of them march onto the Plain. Then the Firsties break away and walk out from the Corp. Finally, the remaining cadets parade in front of them.  West Point does pomp and circumstance well. It is a sight to see.

Dominic is in the back row of the group in the middle.

Dominic's head is just visible back row of cadets (or front facing the Corp), second from the left.
