Dominic only had a short summer break. After classes ended he spent three weeks at Cadet Leader Development Training. This is to train the cadets in the kind of scenarios they might find themselves in when they deploy. This falls into the category of things moms don't want to think about.

Dominic then had a quick three weeks with us which we all enjoyed. He took the time to recharge and read as much as he could. Some things just don't change.
He had to report back to West Point the second week of July. He was a platoon leader for the second half of
Beast, the summer training for incoming cadets that he endured the summer he began at West Point.
