BGSU Visitors!

AJ's friends Jordan and Evan and Stefanie's friend Morgan came to visit and explore Germany. They were all super busy while they were here.

We took them to Herzogstand to experience being up in them mountains. We had spectacular views and the kids kept us completely entertained.

We also found a small fest nearby. We borrowed trachten so they could all be decked out like proper Bavarians. It wasn't quite Oktoberfest but it did give them a small taste of what the festivals are like.

We had a fabulous visit with all three of these kids. So glad our kids have made such truly terrific friends.

Woohooo! Exams are over and the BGSU kids are home for a few weeks before their summer jobs begin! We are psyched to have them home with us. We spent their first weekend enjoy the beautiful weather and outdoors!

Beautiful Bavarian Spring!

 When Bavaria gives you a day like this in April you take FULL advantage of it.

Steve and I started the day shaking off the cobwebs on the golf course!

Then we spent the afternoon at the Hirschgarten Biergarten enjoying the afternoon with friends!

We are being treated to some beautiful spring weather in Bavaria. My girlfriends and I couldn't miss this opportunity to take our bikes out. We had a fabulous afternoon!!

Happy 50th Birthday Abel!

Our friend Abel celebrated his birthday tonight 60s style! Everyone went all out for the theme and we had a fabulous time celebrating Abel's first 50 years! I think we also provided a fair amount of entertainment for the people out walking by the lake!

Before everyone returned to their homes around the US and across the ocean we celebrated Easter! Jack brought happiness and fun as Super Bunny! The cousins had fun decorating Easter eggs together.
